Setting a frequency cap


A frequency cap gives you the ability to limit your campaign impressions. For example, if you only want visitors to see a campaign a maximum of once per day you can use a frequency cap to do that.

<aside> ➡️ For most campaigns, we recommend including a frequency cap. This is a great way to ensure your campaigns don't become distracting to your visitor's shopping experience.

  1. On the settings tab of the campaign editor check the Set frequency cap checkbox
  2. For this example let's set the Frequency limit to 5.
  3. Now we'll set the Frequency timeframe to 1
  4. Click Save in the top right.

Include an end date


When you're running a time-sensitive promotion you can include an end date. Campaigns that include an end date will only be shown to visitors between their start and end date.
